Danielle Drummond, MS, FACHE
President/CEO, Lakeland Regional Health

Ms. Drummond joined Lakeland Regional Health in 2013 and has served in several key roles, first as Chief Strategy and Growth Officer, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, then assuming the position of Chief Executive Officer of the health system.

Using her extensive background in biomedical engineering and healthcare technology management and expertise in statistics and operating principles, Ms. Drummond’s work ensures that Lakeland Regional Health resources and systems are developed to meet patient needs and comply with changing healthcare regulations.

Her patient-focused, outcome-based strategies ensure that LRH patients have the best possible healthcare experiences and access to healthcare providers, advanced care facilities, technology and services. design and construction process for the eight-story, state-of-the-art Carol Jenkins Barnett Pavilion for Women and Children, which opened in June 2018. In addition, Ms. Drummond helped to facilitate the Clark & Daughtrey Medical Group transition, oversee expansion of the Hollis Cancer Center, and strategize for growth of the Physician Group and ambulatory practices. Ms. Drummond also facilitated significant clinical collaborations with Nemours Children’s Health System for Lakeland Regional Health.

Ms. Drummond is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives and a Six Sigma Black Belt, a designation certifying the highest level of expertise in operating principles and process improvement.

Timothy J. Boynton, MBA
Senior Vice President & Chief Development Officer

Tim Boynton joined Lakeland Regional Health in 2013. His unwavering determination and enterprising insight have played an integral role in the continued growth and success of the Lakeland Regional Health Foundation.

During his tenure, Mr. Boynton has provided leadership for more than six capital campaigns supporting transformational initiatives across Lakeland Regional Health. Under his leadership, the Foundation has secured its largest philanthropic gifts, expanded annual giving, and strengthened relationships with donors and community partners who share a commitment to advancing healthcare in the region.

As Senior Vice President of the Foundation and Chief Development Officer, Mr. Boynton oversees strategic fundraising initiatives, donor engagement, and the planning and execution of several of the organization’s most anticipated community events, including the Women in Philanthropy Annual Luncheon, Philanthropist of the Year, and the Promise Run 5K and 10K. These events play a vital role in raising philanthropic support while bringing the community together in support of Lakeland Regional Health’s mission.

Prior to joining Lakeland Regional Health, Mr. Boynton served as Manager of Development at Maine Medical Center, where his fundraising efforts focused on the Maine Children’s Cancer Program at the Barbara Bush Children’s Hospital in Portland. He also held development roles at Elliot Health System in Southern New Hampshire.

Before beginning his career in healthcare philanthropy, Mr. Boynton spent time working in the Broadway theatre industry with composer Mark Schoenfeld on Brooklyn the Musical, which ran for 284 performances on Broadway.

Mr. Boynton holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and has completed extensive professional training through the University of Wisconsin–Madison and the Association for Healthcare Philanthropy. He earned his Master of Business Administration from the University of South Florida. He is also the author of the book Joni Mitchell Called Me Ugly: Persuasion and the Power of an Ask, which explores the art of persuasion, relationship-building, and the power of making the ask in fundraising and leadership.

Jodi Ridley
Associate Vice President, Foundation Operations

Jodi Ridley joined Lakeland Regional Health in 2015 and currently serves as Associate Vice President of Foundation Operations for the Lakeland Regional Health Foundation. In this role, she provides strategic leadership for the Foundation’s operational functions while overseeing the planning and execution of many of Central Florida’s premier philanthropic events that support the mission of Lakeland Regional Health.

Prior to joining Lakeland Regional Health, Ms. Ridley held several leadership roles within the philanthropic and training divisions of Lakeland-based Publix Super Markets, Inc., where she managed large-scale corporate events across the southeastern United States.

At Lakeland Regional Health, Ms. Ridley leads the operational infrastructure of the Foundation, supporting fundraising initiatives, donor engagement efforts, and organizational strategy. She also provides leadership for the Foundation’s auxiliary groups and third-party fundraising partners while helping cultivate meaningful relationships with donors and community supporters.

Ms. Ridley earned her Bachelor of Science in Health Services Administration, Magna Cum Laude, from Keiser University.

Ahmad Black
Development Coordinator

Ahmad Black serves as Development Coordinator for the Lakeland Regional Health Foundation. In this role, he supports the Foundation’s fundraising initiatives, donor engagement efforts, and philanthropic events that advance the mission of Lakeland Regional Health.

A Lakeland native, Ahmad first made a name for himself on the football field. He played collegiate football at the University of Florida, where he was part of the 2009 BCS National Championship team and earned First-Team All-American and First-Team All-SEC honors during his senior season. Following college, Ahmad was selected in the fifth round of the 2011 NFL Draft by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and went on to play professionally in the National Football League as a safety.

Following his professional football career, Ahmad remained deeply connected to the Lakeland community and became involved in mentoring and coaching young athletes. He joined Lakeland Regional Health in 2023 within the organization’s Community Health division, where he quickly became known for his commitment to service and community engagement.

Today, as part of the Lakeland Regional Health Foundation team, Ahmad brings the same discipline, teamwork, and leadership that defined his athletic career to the work of advancing philanthropic support for the health system. The Foundation is proud to have Ahmad as part of the team as he continues to serve the community where he grew up.

Hannah Hyman
Event Coordinator

Hannah Hyman serves as Event Coordinator for the Lakeland Regional Health Foundation, where she supports the planning and execution of the Foundation’s many philanthropic events and community engagement initiatives that advance the mission of Lakeland Regional Health.

Hannah first joined the Foundation in January 2025 as an intern, quickly demonstrating strong organizational skills, creativity, and a passion for supporting the Foundation’s work. Later that year, she was hired as Event Coordinator, where she now plays an important role in coordinating logistics, assisting with event planning, and helping ensure the success of the Foundation’s fundraising and stewardship events.

Hannah studied at Florida Southern College, where she was an active member of Alpha Delta Pi and served as Vice President of Operations for her chapter. In this leadership role, she helped manage chapter operations and supported initiatives that foster leadership, service, and community engagement among members.

Hannah’s enthusiasm, attention to detail, and commitment to service make her a valued member of the Lakeland Regional Health Foundation team as she continues to build her career in nonprofit development and event management.
