We take particular joy and the utmost care when serving mothers and babies. Approximately 3,000 babies are born each year at Lakeland Regional Health. Our perinatal programs are specifically designed to focus on patient safety to ensure our most fragile patients are achieving the best outcomes and the brightest future. Today, Lakeland Regional Health is home to the area’s only Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. We care for many babies facing significant health challenges. Families facing the most critical care situations no longer have to leave the community and seek care for their newborn children away from home. The Pavilion provides Lakeland Regional Health with the facility and care resources needed to care for our most fragile patients right here in our community. The Pavilion includes 350,000 square feet of inpatient and outpatient space. It is a healthcare destination that provides personalized and comprehensive resources for the unique healthcare needs of women and children.
